Washington, D.C. — On Friday, September 12, 2025, His Excellency Ambassador Momodou Lamin Bah joined members of the African Diplomatic Corps at a coffee reception hosted by Mr. Jonathan Pratt, Senior Bureau Official for African Affairs at the United States Department of State.
Held at the Delegates Lounge, the event introduced the newly appointed senior staff of the Africa Bureau and served as a platform to foster deeper diplomatic engagement between African Ambassadors and U.S. officials.
During the informal gathering, Ambassador Bah engaged with key representatives from the State Department and fellow African diplomats, emphasizing the importance of strengthening bilateral relations and identifying new avenues for cooperation.
The reception reaffirmed the shared commitment of both sides to advancing U.S.–Africa partnerships in areas of mutual interest, including economic development, peacebuilding, and regional integration.
